EORTC is pleased to invite you to join health care providers, pharmaceutical industry representatives, bankers and insurers, governmental agencies, politicians and payers, physicians, nurses, psychologists and social workers, patients and patient advocacy groups to discuss the specific needs of cancer survivors.
A cancer diagnosis was once a death sentence. Many patients are now successfully treated. Cancer patients are becoming cancer survivors. We need to address not just problems such as late toxicity and secondary tumors, generally viewed as the domain of medical professionals, but also the wide variety of societally significant issues related to jobs, life insurance, mortgages, etc.
Isabelle Lebrocquy will speak about ‘Labour Participation after Cancer’ at the 1st EORTC Cancer Survivorship Summit.
